Mónika Infante is Doctor in Law Summa Cum Laude of the Universidad Iberoamericana. In 2000, she obtained a LLM from Utrecht University, The Netherlands, in Law & Economics. In 2003, obtained a LLM from the University of Chicago focused on Antitrust Law and Regulated Markets. She participated at the “Academy of American and International Law" in Dallas, Texas in 2002 and is a member of the Antitrust Section of the American Bar Association. She worked from 2000 to 2006 as associate of Squire Sanders and Dempsey Peña Prieto Gamundi (previously Steel Hector and Davis). She teaches Competition Law and Law & Economics both in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (Recinto Central, Santiago) and (Recinto Santo Tomás de Aquino).  She is an International Adjunct Professor of Law, Co-Director of the Latin American and Caribbean Law and Economics Institute of the American Justice School of Law. She is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Latina American and Caribbean Association of Law & Economics.  

Mónika Infante is Founder President of the Asociación Dominicana de Promoción y Protección de la Libre Competencia, entity created for the promotion of competition culture in the Dominican Republic. She also directs the Dominican Institute of Law & Economics.

She works mostly in business transactions, international trade and regulated markets. In addition, she advises clients on different areas of the economic analysis of law.

Fanny Solano

Fanny Solano holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law Magna Cum Laude from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). In 2006 obtained a Master Degree in Law, Economics and Public Policies from Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset – Universidad Complutense de Madrid.,.In 2007 obtained the degree of Expert in European and Spanish Competition Law from Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB). Currently she is a student at the Private Law Master and is a PhD candidate from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Participated in “The 23ª Annual Conference of the European Association of Law and Economics” Spain, 2006 and “XI Conference of the Latin American and Caribbean Association of Law and Economics” Brazil, 2007.  In 2005 she worked as associate attorney in DMK Lawyers (previously De Marchena Kaluche y Asociados) and in 2007 as member of the Staff of the Commission of Competition at the Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual (INDECOPI), Perú.

Víctor López
Associate

Víctor López holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). He is currently a student in the Masters Program in Corporate Business of the PUCMM. In 2007 he obtained a Post Graduate degree from APEC University in International Trade Law. In 2005 and 2006 worked as a commercial negotiations specialist and legal investment lawyer for the Export and Investment Center of the Dominican Republic (CEI-RD). From 2003 to 2004 he worked as a legal consultant for Pais & Dargam Group, in civil and commercial law. In 2002 he worked as a technical attorney for the Modernization Program for the Land Jurisdiction.

Víctor López deals with corporations, permits and general legal support to foreign
investment clients.

David Infante
Associate

David Infante is Doctor in Law since 2005 from Universidad Iberoamericana. He worked as associate at Sabag D’Alessandro Henriquez from 2005 to 2007 and is currently performing the Advanced Tax Program at the University Torcuato Di Tella, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
